status as a leaked document[edit]

This report http://www.iaea.org/NewsCenter/News/2006/iranreport_sg.html as of 14:14, 30 April 2006 (UTC) and since about the previous 36 hours (roughly) says that this report by Mohamed ElBaradei, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is not public, stating "The report was prepared at the request of the United Nation´s Security Council. Its circulation is restricted, and unless the IAEA Board of Governors and Security Council decide otherwise, the Agency can not authorise its release to the public." (emphasis added).

Source[edit]

The report was leaked by (maybe among other sources) the iranian website payvand: http://www.payvand.com/news/06/apr/1242.html

Juan Cole has cited a few paragraphs of the text, without saying where he got it from, but this suggests that the payvand version is (at least) credible: http://www.juancole.com/2006/04/iaea-finds-no-proof-of-iranian-nuclear.html
