the natioanl assembly act of Botswana under s.4 previlages the M,P'S to be free from arrest within the premise of parliament. as thus police officers cannot under any circumstance of civil or criminal arrest an M.P. ALSO S.5 of the National Assembly act previlages says M.P's are free from any court proceses issued againsnt them while they are sitting in parliamnet. also what M.P says in parliament is not actionable against him, this awards them freedom to speak in parliament referenced by s.3 of the National Assembly act.
