Please add some details here about the author and date of publication of this text. It reads as if it is a modern translation and we need to be careful about copyright. If it is in copyright an earlier version might be substituted. Many thanks. Apwoolrich 15:15, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is my translation from the Old English version written by Aelfric, which is from some time shortly before 1002 CE. Since there isn't a copyright on the original text, and since I have no interest in a copyright on this translation, I assume it's public domain.

Thats fine. As an editor anything you dpo here is GFDL copyrioght. I suggest you organise yourself a proper Login and you can identify yourself as the translator on the header with goes at the top of the text and on the text quality box which goes on this page at the top. See Help: Adding texts for info on the procedures for adding these templates. By getting yourself a logon, later readers can contact you personally with queries. By keeping to an ISP number, a range of editors might have the same one which makes things difficult. Also you will, be sent a welcome message with useful info. Please get back to me if there are any queries. Kind regards. Apwoolrich 14:13, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
