Why is the title like this

Why is the title "The Balloon-Hoax" with the definite article and the hyphen? Why not The Balloon Hoax or just Balloon Hoax? Mike R (talk) 14:54, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

It's not the original title, but the title it was given shortly after its initial publication. Like I said on the Wikipedia page, this is not an arbitrary nickname that was given to the work in modern times. This is its title. --Midnightdreary (talk) 03:00, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
