Where is the text from?[edit]

I assumed this was from Project Gutenberg, but I guess I cannot be certain of that. Can anyone confirm that or another source for the text? - Taxman 19:13, 14 Feb 2005 (UTC) It could be form anyone!

This should be from Project Gutenberg (Etext No. 2199) Check it out: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/2199. It's from the same author (Samuel) Matt 20:47, 01 March 2006 (+6 UTC)

Redirect[edit]

I wonder if it might be a good idea to redirect the pages "Iliad 1", "Iliad 2", etc. to their respective books... anyone have any thoughts on this? --Rmagill 14:44, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I could Try. --66.194.217.223 16:52, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Line numbers[edit]

I also wonder whether including line numbers would be worthwhile. As it is, the text can't really be cited, only read. --Rmagill 14:45, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whole[edit]

I was thinking about placing a page with the entire thing (Books I-XXIV). Any thoughts? I just finished.

Question[edit]

Hi,

The text seems altered by a lot of links and images. Marc 09:19, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hopefully redundant in the future[edit]

Judging from the editions template, this is the same edition as the incomplete PP'd text at The Iliad of Homer (Butler). Prosody (talk) 19:30, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
