Should the line numbers stay or go? I'm leaning toward taking them out, or at least making a table to put more space between the line number and the rest of the text. Zhaladshar 23:51, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)

My preference would be to retain the line numbers. A lot of references to old poetic material includes references to particular lines. An alternative to tables could be pre-formatted text. Ideally, the software should be able to handle line numbering. When you compare text versions it makes reference to line numbers, but I have no idea how it defines its lines. For now the usefullness of that feature is limited to telling me that a high line number must be somewhere near the end of the text. Eclecticology 01:59, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)
