Usage[edit]

Footnote end[edit]

This template is used to enclose the second page of a footnote overflow in the page namespace. When used in conjunction with {{Footnote overflow}}, the enclosed text will appear as a continuation of the footnote on the previous page when it is transcluded into the main namespace.

Footnote overflow[edit]

This template is used to include the second (and optionally third) page of a footnote overflow in the main footnote. When used in conjunction with {{Footnote end}}, the overflow will appear as a continuation of the footnote when it is transcluded into the main namespace.

Alternative method[edit]

Use <ref name="whatever">...</ref> on the first part of the footnote, and <ref follow="whatever">...</ref> on the second. The value of "whatever" will need to be unique for the transclusion in the main namespace.
