This template categorises Author namespace pages into Category:Author-PD Canada and all other pages into Category:PD Canada.
Parameters[edit]
This template has an optional parameter.
- 1: The year the author died (for private works). Should be more than 50 years ago.
Tracking category[edit]
If an ineligible year is entered, pages will be sorted into Category:PD-Canada-possible-copyright-violations and the appearance of the template will change slightly.
