Usage[edit]

To welcome new contributions on User:talk pages.

Copy or type the template:

{{welcome}}

or use a substitution:

{{subst:welcome}}

Substitution will not reflect updates, leaving only the content of the template on the page.

Parameters[edit]

Use one of the following three parameters to customise the greeting that acknowledges a specific contribution:

 | page    =
 | pagefix =
}}
  • newpage=<pagename> - user added a page
  • page=<pagename> - modified a page
  • pagefix=<pagename> - fixed a page
