Marmion, Hon. William Edward, M.L.A., Commissioner of Lands, Western Australia, represented Fremantle in the old Legislative Council, and was a member of the Finance Committee of that body in 1890. In December of that year he accepted he post of Commissioner of Lands in he administration formed by Mr. Forrest, and was returned to the first Legislative Assembly of Western Australia for Fremantle. Mr. Marmion was one of the representatives of the Colony at the Sydney Federation Convention in March 1891.
