The Encyclopedia Americana (1920)/Wyoming (Pa.)

WYOMING, Pa., borough in Luzerne County, on the Susquehanna River, five miles north of Wilkes-Barre, and on the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western and the Lehigh Valley railroads. It is situated in an iron and coal-mining district and there are manufactures of paint, shovels and flour. Pop. about 3,010.
