Bhup Dev Singh, Raja; Born, 1868; Succeeded to estate, 1894. Belongs to a Gond family formerly settled in Bairagarh, Nagpur, but having been driven out by the Mahrattas had subsequently settled in Raigarh. The Chief also obtained possession of Borgarh about 60 years ago. The area of the state is 1,486 squire miles with a population of about 300,000 and a revenue of about three lakhs. The heir apparent to the State is Lai Netwar Singh. Address: Raigarh, Sambalpur District, C.P.
