Chattarji, Sosi Bhushan. Rai Bahadur; b. 1852, educ. at the London Missionary Society Institution, Bhawanipur; entered Ordnance Department, 1872; Owns 1,000 bighas of land in South Goria; saved the life of an Indian lady from drowning at great personal risk, 1896; granted certificate of honor, 1903; made Rai Bahadur and presented with a sword with belt and scabbard, 1907.
