Fagan, Lt. Col. Christopher George Forbes, Indian Army (retired); s. of late Major C. S. Fagan; b; 1856; educ; at Harrow; m. Florence Evelyn Jessie, d. of late Surgeon Major J. W. R. Amesbury, I.M.S.; joined Army, 1875; served in the Afghan War. 1879-80 (medal); served in various capacities till 1880; transferred to the Police department as Assistant Superintendent, Punjali, 1885; Assistant Resident, Hyderabad, 1891; Assistant Political Agent and Consul, Bussorah, 1897; at Muscat, Kotah, and Alwar, 1898, 1900, and 1901 respectively; Eastern States, Rajputana, 1904; retired, 1907.
