Kissen Law and Co., Calcutta; owns extensive house and landed property in Calcutta, and Zemindaries in the 24 Purgunnas, Cuttack, Midnapur, Jessore, Khulian and Tipperah; Honorary Presidency Magistrate, and Governor of Mayo Hospital, Calcutta; Trustee of the Victoria Memorial Fund; Member,Bengal Chamber of Commerce; Vice President, British Indian Association; Member, Imperial League; President, Subarvarnick Charitable Association; was Sheriff of Calcutta.
