Mittar, Malli Nath, C.I.E. (1911), Calcutta; a member of the Kulim Kayastha family; educ: at the Hindu School and the Presidency College, Calcutta; enrolled as Attorney, 1868; admitted as Vakil of the High Court, Calcutta, 1872; practiced conjointly with Babu Deva Prasad Sarbadikary, 1893; Member of the Calcutta Corporation for over twenty years; a prominent Member of the Kayastha Subha; Honorary Magistrate and Vice-President of the British Indian Association; Governor of the Bhagavan Dass Marwari Hospital.
