Singarachariar, Head Cashier, Bank of Madras; belongs to a respectable family of Mysore; descended from Pradhan Thrimala Rao who rendered valuable service to the British during the Mahomaden usurpation of Mysore; educ: Anglo-Vernacular (now Hindu) High School, Triplicane, and the Presidency College, Madras; passed B.A., 1888; B.L., 1891; practiced at the Madras Bar, 1895; joined the Bank of Madras as Head Cashier, 1899; Member, Managing Committee of the Hindu High School, Triplicane, and Secretary, S.P.C.A., Madras; Address: “Singara Bagh”, Poonamallee Road, Egmore, Madras, India.
