Pitambar Das, I.C.S., Rai Bahadur, Revenue Member, Indore; b. 1862; s. of Rai Mathura Das; educ: St. John’s College, Agra; joined British service as Tahsildar in N.W.F. Provinces; Manager of the Wards Estate, Ajmere, 1885-1888; Sheristadar, Board of Revenue, U.P., till 1893; services lent to Indore State, 1905; Member of the Council of Regency, since 1898; Chief Famine Officer of the State, 1907 08. Recreations: Tennis, Cricket and Shooting. Address: Indore, Central India.
