Rama Rao, Mattada, Rao Sahib (1900), District Forest Officer, Trichinopoly and Tanjore; b. 1865; joined service as Forester {Sub-pro-tem) , 1886; became Forest Ranger, and acted in that capacity in various places; became Extra-Assistant Conservator of Forests, 1905; services lent to the State of Travancore, 1908; Conservator of Forests till 1912; reverted to British service, 1913: posted to Trichinopoly and Tanjore, January 1915. Address: Tanjore, Madras Presidency, India.
