Arcot, 20th to 23rd March 1885; seconded in the reorganisation, 1887; promoted to 1st grade, 1892; became Superintendent, 1892; Acting Assistant Inspector-General of Police, 1893; acted as Inspector-General of Police, Madras, 1906.
