Stuart, Hon’ble Louis, I.C.S.; Second Additional Judicial Commissioner, Oudh, since 1912; b. 1870; s. of Doctor Kenneth Bruce Stuart; educ: Charterhouse, and Balliol College, Oxford; joined the I.C.S., 1891; District and Sessions Judge, Fizabad, 1897; acted in the same capacity in various other places; special Judge for adjustment of claims under Bundelkand; encumbered Estates Act, 1903-06; Judicial Secretary to Government; and additional Member, Legislative Council, U.P., 1910-12; m. Mary Curzon Molison, d. of Doctor Robert Smith, of Sedgefield, Durham, 1896. Recreations: Golf and Boating. Address: Lucknow, U.P. Club: East India United Service.
