Sukhdeo Pershad Pandit, C.I.E., (1902), Rao Bahadur (1895); B.A., F.S.A., Minister, Jodhpur State; s. of late Pandit Sheo Narayan of Jodhpur; b. 1862; educ: Agra College, and at Calcutta; B.A., 1884; joined service as Assistant to Revenue Commissioner, Jodhpur, 1886; Member, State Council, 1887; Judicial Secretary to Minister, 1888; deputed to Revenue Settlement work, 1893; worked in the Secretariat office, 1898; Famine Secretary, Jodhpur State, 1899; Member, Board of Administration, 1901; Minister of the State, 1903; holds K-I-H gold medal.
