FRIEDRICHSRUH, frē'drĭKs-rōō. A village and railway station of Lauenburg;, Prussia, 16 miles southeast of Hamburg by rail. Population, in 1900, 279. Its celebrity is derived from the proximity of the castle and estate of the Bismarck family, where Prince Bismarck (q.v.) died and is buried.
