About My Contributions to Wikisource[edit]

Area of Expertise[edit]

I am a web code junkie. I am best at finding and restyling or reorganizing articles, or simply editing to make page breaks or links. I'm best at being a code monkey, or the wiki equivalent there-of.

I do know some French, but am not confident enough to do any sort of translation, to or from English.

Area of Interest[edit]

I love fairy tales and folk tales, in general. I am very passionate about getting the full and unabridged One Thousand Nights and One Night (also known as The Arabian Nights) up on Wikisource. It has been a source of intellectual interest to me for quite a while, and I would love to see it here.

My interest in Wikisource, however sometimes monopolized by folk tales, is not limited to them, and if asked for help on a project, I will do whatever it is within my power and time limitations to do.

Level of Contribution[edit]

Unfortunately, I can not tackle many projects all at the same time. I work and actually have a life beyond Wikisource (gasp!), and have to limit my time here. If I don't, I will end up spending all day putting line breaks in some obscure and ancient Greek play that I was shocked wasn't here already. (Believe me, its happened before.) So, I spend about an hour here every few days, and comfort myself with the fact that this great library will still be here when I come back.

Current and Past Contributions[edit]

  1. The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night - redid the styling to what I 'hope' is more standard Wikisource fare, and finished the Table of Contents for Volume One and Volume Two
