Hi.

Basic info: South African (Cape Town) with an interest in science, philosophy, medicine.

It bothers me that it is so difficult to obtain original references (50+ years old) to scientific matters. I suspect that many articles are written using references-to-references-to-references (2nd or 3rd hand or more), and in the medical / scientific field that can lead to distortion of facts. I believe that wikisource is an effective medium for changing this bad old habit, so I'll be posting what I can when I can. I hope that others will follow suit.
