This user account is a bot operated by Spangineer (talk). It is not a sock puppet but rather a legitimate alternative account, used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it. |
This is a python-based pywikipediabot bot account run by User:Spangineer. It received a bot flag on February 7, 2011.
Scope[edit]
This bot's current scope is to use several scripts found in the pywikipedia library to move pages and perform related cleanup: movepage.py, replace.py, and pagesfromfile.py. All edits will be directly related to Spangineer's work, or will be in response to a request at Wikisource:Bot requests. All non-trivial edits will be proposed on relevant talk pages prior to execution.
