Contributions[edit]

Hi. Works in Spanish belong on the Spanish language Wikisource. The works you're submitting are your own, right? Have they been published anywhere else? Prosody (talk) 20:59, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Non-English Contributions[edit]

As Prosody has already told you: this is the English Wikisource and we can only accept contributions in that language. Also, Wikisource is not a publishing venue. As a result, we need source and license details for all contributions. Please see What Wikisource Includes for details on what is acceptable here. A further attmept to explain the problem[edit]

Please excuse my poor Spanish. You are appear to using an automatic translator for your additions to the English Wikisource. The result is that you are giving English words that together make no sense. I can barely understand the message that you left on my talk page. The poems you have added are even worse.

Wikisource is not the venue for you to publish your own work. If you wish to make your poetry and translations available online, you need to start your own website.

Beeswaxcandle (talk) 06:56, 5 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No more additions of works[edit]

You have been asked to stop adding your works, so please stop. Your additions are not within scope for our site, please see Wikisource:What Wikisource includes. Your works do not belong here in the English language, and if you wish to have the Spanish language versions hosted, please try Spanish Wikisource.

@Jeepday: can you help here please. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:36, 7 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for NOT posting more work. I have edited your main page to remove links to works that are out of scope on Wikisource. I also removed the author template but did leave most of your personal information in place. In a related discussion I have recommended that you be blocked should you start loading out of scope works again. Ultimately the responsibility for understanding the rights and responsibilities of a being a contributor are yours. Jeepday (talk) 13:03, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
