User talk:Russia Moore~enwikisource
If am copying messages I send to User talk:69.181.221.76 about Author:Saki:
Thanks for you contributions. I have renamed your author page. The new name is Author:Saki which seems to be more in line with naming conventions here. I also created a redirect at Author:H. H. Munro so that a user who looks for Author:H. H. Munro be directed to Author:Saki. Keep up the good work. --Droll 22:12, 30 March 2006 (UTC) EDITED --Droll 23:43, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
I fixed the author links on Modern Fiction:Titles and Modern Fiction:Authors. Sorry for the confusion. Good work. I'm just another user and if you want to leave a message on my talk page User talk:Droll. --Droll 00:34, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
I'm guessing this is your new account. Thanks for introducing me to this author. I've enjoyed reading his stories and am going to download the rest of the stories in this book. --Droll 23:37, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
- 'Tis. Always happy to spread a bit of literature around... --Russia Moore
{{header}} when mass-adding texts
[edit]Thanks for your contributions, which seem to be formatted very well. I haven't had the chance to read any of them, but they do seem to be interesting. One thing that's missing is the {{header}} template at the top of each page, which identifies the work and authorship information. When mass-adding short stories from one author, copy and pasting the text below will usually suffice:
{{header | previous= | next= | title={{subst:PAGENAME}} | section= | author=Saki | notes= }}
Thanks. // Pathoschild (admin / talk) 02:53, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Russia Moore. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Russia Moore~enwikisource that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
