- G'day. The easiest way to learn is to tackle some maintenance tasks, as this will expose you to the length and breadth of Wikisource, and allow you to get your fingers dirty. It will also give you an opportunity to chat with the rest of us about any of the usual problems.
- The simplest way to help is to work on "Works with no header template", which are all tagged with "{{no header}}". Unless there is a good reason, each page needs a header and a license. The most important field is the author field - if we dont know who the author is, we dont know that it is "free".
- If you find pages that contain more than one "work", replace the {{no header}} template with {{split-multiple}}. If you find something that doesnt look like it fits within "What we include?", either ask the contributor (often you will need to find them on Wikipedia), ask related questions on WS:S, or start a deletion discussion on WS:PD or WS:COPYVIO, or if it looks really inappropriate, tag it with {{sdelete}}. Summary of Space Exploration Initiative[edit]
Summary of Space Exploration Initiative is an {{orphan}}, and could be tagged as such. Like wikipedia, we want pages to be linked to, and to link to other pages. Linking to the author page for Bush, as you did, is the right idea; we also like to link to appropriate articles on Wikipedia/Wiktionary/Wikiwhatever.
In order to have pages that link to this document, it should probably be added to our "topical index" page Portal:Astronomy. Also, "NSPD-6" looks closely related. Im guessing that NSPD-1-7 also need to be looked at, as some are orphans. John Vandenberg 18:14, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

- The text fits within our "analytical and artistic works" section of WS:WWI, but it is rather trivial. Checking the source indicates that the author is the NASA Chief Historian, so I think it is important enough to keep. We dont have a "notability" threshold that works need to pass - we allow even small newspaper clippings such as The New York Times/Nogi and Stoessel meet. John Vandenberg 18:39, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
