Based of the Tables of Conents it looks like Title X is missing Section 1013 -1016. Did you have a copy of it saved to check?--BirgitteSB 01:39, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- See Talk:USA PATRIOT Act for sources; feel free to add any new source you find. // Pathoschild (editor / talk) 01:51, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think the layout looks good, although I didn't compare it very closely with the original. I orphaned USA PATRIOT Act/Beginning because it had basically a less complete version of the text that was on the USA PATRIOT Act Page. Begininng was missing section 2 and the main page didn't have the two paragraph intro. So I updated the main page to have the two paragraphs and wikified the TOC. So if you look over it and agree the Beggining page is unneeded you can tag it for speedy deletion as the creator. I do not know how to get rid of the automactic TOC. It is ridculous to have a TOC to a TOC. If you can ask on IRC I would try that, but I am at work now so no IRC. Did you see the problem with section 359 too?
I saw your note but I am is a little confused about what I did. I think I moved some standalone articles to be incorprated into the US Code and then repaired all links from "What links here" which must have included the Patriot Act page. Other than that I am not sure what changes I have made to the PATRIOT Act, although I have noticed your great work on the subject. I imagine we will try to have our version of the Code kept as up to date possible; we already have some sections existing soley of "Repealed". There are a few good up to date versions of the Code available online already that we can work from. If it where not for the great advantages that are available by having our own verision for wikilinks, I do not think it would be worth the effort of replication. I must admit that this is a very back-burner project for me. I had some ambition to work on it at first but for the time being I have moved over to projects I find more interesting. --BirgitteSB 00:14, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed[edit]
Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Ta bu shi da yu. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Ta bu shi da yu~enwikisource that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
