Letter to the Camp David Summit from the Armenian patriarchs of Jerusalem[edit]

Letter to the Camp David Summit from the Armenian patriarchs of Jerusalem is also without a header. We are trying to put headers on every page, so if you notice one without, please either tag it with {{no header}} or supply the header.

EB1911[edit]

In your quest to fill Category:Armenia, there are 48 pages in EB1911 that might be suitable, and many more in a broader search.

EB1911 is very incomplete, so walk on over to WS:EB1911 to find links to various online copies of EB1911. I usually use jrank.org to grab the text, and the TIFF scanset at User:Tim Starling to proof read it. Let me know if you need a hand. John Vandenberg 03:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have created 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica/Armenia, which needs to be proof read using the scans on the talk page. To see the images, you will need to install this plugin. John Vandenberg (chat) 06:03, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Armenia. Law on Copyright and Related Rights‎[edit]

Thanks for working on Armenia. Law on Copyright and Related Rights‎, and also for your support on Commons. That means a lot to me.

In order to remove the {{Orphan}}, you can create Portal:Armenia (see Portal:Australia for an example), and list it there. John Vandenberg (chat) 03:56, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, can you record the source on Talk:Armenia. Law on Copyright and Related Rights‎ using the {{textinfo}} template. We need to know if it is an official edition, because if it is a translation by someone else, we may not have a license for their translation. licenses[edit]

Hi VartanM, every page needs to have a license tag on it. It is quite probable that there isnt an existing license tag that is applicable for pages like President Kocharyan's interview to Armenian National TV 02/11/2000, so we are going to need to figure out whether these are really in the public domain, and if so, create a new template for them.

commons:Template:PD-Armenia doesnt help, as that is for pre-1946 works.

w:Official_text_copyright#Armenia says "Article 6 of Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights makes official documents (laws, decisions, decrees, etc.) as well as their official translations, state emblems and signs (flags, coats of arms (armorial bearings), medals (decorations), monetary signs, etc.) not objects of copyright." -- this doesnt apply to speeches made on TV.

Armenia. Law on Copyright and Related Rights says lots of stuff; I havent read it all, but it does specifically deal with interviews: Armenia. Law on Copyright and Related Rights#Article 32. Copyright in an Interview. Article 22.2(c) looks like it may be applicable. Article 22.2(d) may also be useful, however our translation has the restriction "to the extent justified by the purpose of information", which may make it unusable on Wikisource.

If you cant find a 100% solid legal basis within a day or so, these pages need to be tagged so that we dont forget about them. In a day or two, could you tag them with either {{no license}} or {{New license required}} depending on how confident you are that a new license tag can be created and approved by the community. The tag may be placed at the bottom of the page. John Vandenberg (chat) 09:58, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
