These templates are designed to provide article-to-article linking between Meta-Wiki and its Wikimedia sister projects.

This page is about coordination in the names and parameter uses in all of this kind of Wikimedia templates.

Par is used generally in the template name to point to a concrete page name in a sister project (i.e.wikiquotepar).

Moving pages to Wikinews is not possible, for legal reasons. (Copying material to Wikinews would put it into the public domain, which violates the GFDL.)
