The Wikisource Wiki Bible project dates back to November 2005 when LaggedOnUser (talk • contribs) added "Bible, Free" to the List of Bibles, started with Matthew 1-5, and continued to Matthew 9 by November 14.

• March - calan (talk • contribs) comments on the talk page on the 14th, 25th

• May 8, calan (talk • contribs) pleads for the project to not be killed.[1]
• May 9 - 70.242.122.254 creates Bible (Free)/2 John, with calan (talk • contribs) cleaning up the formatting.
• May 10 - calan (talk • contribs) "did some light editing" of Matthew
• May 16 - calan (talk • contribs) contributes Galatians

• July 32 - calan (talk • contribs) creates blank pages for many of the NT books, however these were later deleted at the request of Jdavid2008 (talk • contribs) in September 2007
