Managing Translations

With someone like Author:Xenophon's works that have been translated, and in CrankyLibrarian's versions. How should we manage unknown translation against known translation? Still to be imported? -- billinghurst (talk) 03:21, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

What about Works that are just framework

Just looked at The Soul of a Bishop and it is just a framework for a work rather than the text. What are the suggested methods to deal with these? Annotate for special treatment? Delete the existing framework? -- billinghurst (talk) 05:22, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Revive?

Is there still value in this import project, given we are now moving towards DJVU files for all content? I think it would be useful to continue the import for CL texts which are not in PG, and if we imported them in a way that they are able to be used with the Help:Match and split tool. If the texts are potentially to be lost, then I would say yes. With Magnus's new tool, there becomes the ability to more quickly load the djvu and split the text, presuming that the correct edition is available, though maybe it changes the context of the project. If it isn't available, then it just gets imported as is Maybe it is something where we can look to more selectively import, which means more pick and choose work up front, though something that may progress more quickly than has happened so far. — billinghurst sDrewth 05:30, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
