I have lashed this up from the discussion on the project talk page. It obviously needs amplification still. Charles Matthews (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

I've found articles in the Page: namespace when searching for any ref to an author, searching on the last name will also get you pretty close (one advantage to saving the uncorrected text layer). My preference is ticked to search that space, others may need instructions on doing that manually. I made a couple of small changes; as always you can push it elsewhere or dump it, if it is not what you had in mind. Thanks again Cygnis insignis (talk) 10:19, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Yes, search may help, but there are whole volumes with very little added text. In such cases no method is brilliant, but at least bisection will get you there. I've mentioned more about bisection now on Wikisource:WikiProject DNB/Pagefinding. I'll add a note about search now. Charles Matthews (talk) 14:00, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
