GIBS, GIBBES, or GIBBS (GEORGE) bookseller in London; Flower de Luce in Popes-Head-Alley, 1646. Only known from the imprint to L. Owen's Unmasking of all Popish Monks, 1646. [B.M. E. 339 (15).] Possibly a son of George Gibbs the elder, who was publishing at this address from 1613 to 1633. [Arber, v. 237; Sayle, 839.]
