בטח II, אבטח (אבטי) m. (בטח, בטי, v. Ges. H. Dict. s. v. בטח; cmp. מקוה) a hollow column-like re- ceptacle of rain water near the house. [Maim., a pro- jection in front of the window to stand upon in climbing.] Ohol. XII, 3 הבטח (Ar. Var. אבטח). Tosef. ib. XIII, 3 אבטי (ed. Zuck. אבטו, corr. acc.).
