טסקא f. (v. Freit. Arab. Dict. s. v. task) 1) a basket, as a measure. Gitt. 78a וכ׳ בה דאכלא ט׳ לאיתויי (Tosaf. to Ab. Zar. 14b quotes ביה. . . ) to include the measure in which she measures (or eats) figs (destined) for her par- uicular use. Meg. 7b וכ׳ ט׳ מלא (Ms. O. טיסקא, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l., Var. צנא) a taska full of &c. -- 2) name of a. Persian landd-taxx (a certain measure for each certain quantity of produces). B. טעי, טעה (b. h.) 1) (cmp. תעה) to err, be mistaken. Ber. II, 3 שט׳ למקום יחזור וט׳ קרא if in reading the Sh'ma one made a mistake, he must go back to the passage in which he made a mistake. B. Mets. 63b טועה שהדעת בכדי within the limits of a reasonable mistake in counting. Snh. 33b וכ׳ שהצדוקין בדבר ט׳ if the judge made a mis- take in a case in which there is no difference of opinion between the Sadducees and Pharisees.
