Montagu, Right Hon. Frederick, created D.C.L. 3 July, 1793, of Papplewick, Notts (son of Charles Montagu, of Lincoln's Inn), bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1757, bencher 1782, privy councillor, M.P. Northampton (June) 1759-67, Higham Ferrers 1768-90, died 30 July, 1800, the last male descendant of George, son of Henry, 1st. Earl of Manchester.
