Nivernais, Louis Jules Barbou Mancini Mazarini, Duke de, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire, knight of the Order of the 'Sainct Esprit;' created D.C.L. 21 April, 1763, French ambassador at Rome, Berlin, and at the Court of St. James', where he negotiated the peace of 1763, imprisoned by the Republicans 1793, died 25 Feb., 1798, aged 82, author of several works.
