Lincoln Coll., matric. 17 Dec., 1773, aged 15, B.A. 1777, M.A. 1780; Radcliffe travelling fellow University Coll., B.Med. 1783, D.Med. 1784, Sherardian professor of botany 1784-96, author of 'Flora Oxoniensis' and 'Flora Graeca,' died 7 Feb., 1796.
