Cotton, Stapleton Stapleton-, Viscount Combermere, created D.C.L. 23 June, 1830, field-marshal, colonel 1st life guards, constable Tower of London, etc., a peninsular hero, commander-in-chief India 1822, created baron 1814, and viscount 1827 (s.
