Coutts, William Lehman Ashmead Burdett-Coutts-Bartlett-, 2s. Ellis Bartlett, of New Brunswick, America, arm. Keble Coll., matric. 18 Oct., 1870, aged 19; exhibitioner 1871-3, B.A. 1875, M.A. 1880, a student of the Inner Temple 6 Feb., 1875, he assumed the surnames and arms of Burdett-Coutts by royal licence 1 Feb., 1881, and took the additional final surname of Coutts 25 July, 1881, M.P. Westminster since Nov., 1885, married 12 Feb., 1881, Angela Georgina, Baroness Burdett-Coutts. See Foster's Peerage.
