Lamb, Sir James, Bart., s. George Burges, of Gibraltar, arm. University Coll., matric. 7 Jan., 1770, aged 17 (as James Bland Burges); created a baronet 31 Oct., 1795, assumed by royal licence the surname of Lamb in lieu of Bland Burges, etc., M.P. Helston 1787-96. etc., died 13 Oct., 1834. See Foster's Baronetage.
