​Powell, (Sir) John Kynaston (Bart.), s. Roger Kynaston, of Shrewsbury, Salop, arm. Pembroke Coll., matric. 17 Oct., 1770, aged 17, B.A. 1774; B.C.L. from All Souls' Coll. 1777, D.C.L. 1814, assumed the additional surname of Powell 1797, created a baronet 8 Dec., 1818, M.P. Salop 1784, until his death 25 Oct., 1822.
