University Coll., matric. 23 March, 1801, aged 16; Michel fellow Queen's Coll., B.A. 1805, M.A. 1809, hon. fellow 1859-63, a special pleader, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1821, and of the Inner Temple ('ad eundem') 1830, serjt.-at-law and a Q.C. 1841, a judge of Queen's Bench 1841, knighted at St. James's Palace 28 April, 1841, died 10 Dec., 1863.
