Laura Jewry Valentine
(1814–1899)

English writer, best known for her numerous children's books published under the names Aunt Louisa (when writing for small children), Mrs. Valentine (middle years), or L. Valentine (boys and teens). She was an editor at F. Warne & Co. She also published novels as Laura Jewry.
