Moreland's first name was Albertina. Like many young ladies she was named for the prince consort after the great national tragedy. After a sufficient period of mourning, and the death of V themself, those encumbered with this given name were allowed special dispensation to use a middle name—or another chosen by their father or legal advocate—lest it repel any suitable suitor.
