Executive Order 1053

Mr. F. B. Simons may be reinstated as a clerk in the Bureau of Internal Revenue without reference to the length of time since his separation from the service. This order is made to enable the Commissioner of Internal Revenue to secure a civil servant with the needed technical knowledge for cases involving denatured alcohol. It is made upon the recommendation of the Civil Service Commission, the Secretary of the Treasury, and the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.
