Mr. F. B. Simons may be reinstated in the service of the Treasury Department as an analytical chemist in the office of the appraiser of merchandise at Baltimore, Md., without regard to the length of time since his separation from the service. This order is made to enable the Secretary of the Treasury to secure a civil servant for a vacant place in the office above named, who is peculiarly well fitted for the performance of its duties by reason of his ten years' service as a chemist in the Division of Chemistry in the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
